Missions Conference October 26—30
Faith Baptist Church is having its annual Missions Conference October 26—30. The conference will feature three missionaries and will begin each evening at 6:45 PM to 8:00 PM.
The public is invited to attend the Annual Missions Conference at Faith Baptist Church beginning on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at 6:45 PM and ending on Sunday, October 30, 2011. The missionaries that are scheduled are:
• Frank Denisi — Philippines
• Nathan and Renee Owens — Antigua, West Indies
• Hurst Family — Philippines
The Keynote Speaker at this year’s conference is Gordon A. Dickson. He has served as the senior pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Findlay, Ohio, since 1994. He has been married to the former Harriet Clonts since 1981, and they have four children: Stephen, David, Anna, and Joseph. After graduating from Pensacola Christian High School in 1974, Pastor Dickson entered Bob Jones University and received the Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible in 1978. In May 2001, Rev. Dickson received an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Bob Jones University and earned the Master of Ministry degree from Northland Baptist Bible College. He is a certified master gardener and his hobbies include reading, writing and fishing.
The Missions Banquet will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011, at 6:00 PM. The banquet will feature a menu of Filipino foods.

Sojourners
Middle-aged adults provide heart-beat of most churches. FBC is no exception. Sojourners provides a place of fellowship and ministry for adults in their 40’s & 50’s. Geared toward adults with teenagers or young adult children, folks will find a warm welcome and a helping hand.
